Down Memory Lane

Down memory lane: Tailored for you.

Now, this has to be one of the tours that are a bit closer to my heart as I take you through the places that have shaped me to be the amazing human I am. Ok let me not get personal, now allow me to take you through one of the most historic places of South Africa, from Johannesburg to Soweto.

Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa. This vibrant city is full of tales to tell from the gold rush of 1886 to the dark era of apartheid to the free South Africa that is rich in cultural diversity that we live in today. The nearby famous township which is more of a city than a township, Soweto was created in the 1930s when the white government started separating black people from white people. We learn more about the history, culture, lifestyle of Soweto, while we also pass through the most historic places like Hector Peterson Museum, Nelson Mandelaโ€™s House, Klipitown. This township was once home to people like Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Winnie Mandela, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, James Mpanza, Hector Peterson, Hastings Ndlovu. On this tour, I would like to show you the good, the bad and โ€the uglyโ€ of Soweto. From the most famous street in the world Vilakazi street to the informal settlements, this vibrant township showcases a truly South African culture. And there is no way we will leave Soweto without tasting the amazing food and a good beer trust me nothing taste better than Soweto Gold beer, oh and some fun African market street shopping. this is a tour down memory lane.
